The park of Molineddu
The Park of Molineddu, located between the bastions of Chighizzu and the fortified tower of Sa Rocca Entosa, has been established as a Natural Park of Art and Culture.
In the last twenty years, the Park has become a gathering place for meetings and artistic events in the countryside of Ossi thanks to its owner, Mr Bruno Petretto, who personally takes care of the artistic enrichment and maintenance of all the spaces of the landscape. Over time, the exhibition space has become a natural park of art, where you can visit a permanent exhibit of visual art located both inside the venue and outside. Beyond the spaces dedicated to visual art, Mr Petretto has supervised the creation of two amphitheatres with more than two hundred and fifty seats, where many artists and bands from the island or national scene perform every year. The organisation of cultural events, that has made the Park of Molineddu an important feature over the years, has required the collaboration of several organisations such as the “Parco delle Arti Molineddu APS” association chaired by Mr Bruno Petretto, the Kenosis association, the Kairos art centre and other groups that persue a shared objective. Their objective is to give artists, local and otherwise, a chance to express themselves and give to public a chance to enjoy the artists’ work. For more than 20 years the park has hosted events and shows in succession, including the famous festival “Arte Evento e Creazione” (tn* Art Event and Creation), already at its 23rd edition.
